Overview
In a world where visual communication is the norm, animators are in high demand in TV, movies, gaming, corporate films, education and mainstream news media.
This University of Portsmouth BA (Hons) Animation degree course gives students the technical skills, insight and platform to apply their creative talent to a successful career in 2D or 3D animation in the film, computer games, visualization, motion capture and advertising industries.
Students will develop creative and technical abilities in character animation, visual storytelling, compositing and editing. They will practice techniques such as the performance capture process that animators used in the film, Avatar.
