Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Audio Software Engineering (I300)

The BSc (Hons) Audio Software Engineering at the University of West London will enable students to find work in a range of industry sectors where audio software, coding and development are part of the skillset employers are looking for.

Audio software engineering is a field at the intersection of many disciplines that have boomed over the past few decades. In fact, there are few areas of the modern world in which sound does not play an important part.

This is a unique course, focusing on areas relating to audio software development and applications such as audio creation and processing for music and games, immersive audio, broadcast, networking and artificial intelligence.

During the course, students will look at how advances in software to create, manipulate and represent audio in creative ways have radically changed the approach to and relationship with audio.

This multidisciplinary Audio Software Engineering degree contains a number of interlocking subject areas that progress through the course, allowing students to develop and reinforce their knowledge and skills both collectively and separately.

By the end of the course, students will have a wide array of marketable skills as audio software engineers and will be able to apply them for a range of purposes in the industry.
