The Welding pre-employment certificate program provides knowledge and skill development in operating welding equipment and performing basic welding operations using current welding practices. Student will receive training in: oxy-acetylene fusion welding, ARC, MIG and TIG welding processes, operating fabrication equipment, using blueprints, general shop practice, shop safety. **The following equipment must be purchased by students through a vendor of their choosing: • Steel-toed boots • Welding helmet • Leather welding gloves, leather welding jacket • Coveralls • Safety glasses • Cutting goggles (shade #5 or #6) • 5" angle grinder and bead brush
