Graduate Certificate - Business Information Technology (BTTC) (Optional Co-op)

The Graduate Certificate in Business Information Technology combines business knowledge with practical information technology skills. The program prepares students to analyse organizational needs, support technology-based business processes, and contribute to the planning, implementation, and management of information systems.

Typical areas of study may include business analysis, systems analysis and design, database management, data analytics, project management, enterprise technologies, IT governance, cybersecurity fundamentals, and professional communication. Through applied assignments and team projects, students develop problem-solving, technical, analytical, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

The optional co-op component provides an opportunity to gain relevant workplace experience, apply classroom learning in a professional environment, understand industry practices, and identify practical business and technology challenges. Co-op participation and placement are generally subject to eligibility requirements and employer availability.
