What you will study
The Pre-Masters program is offered over one or two terms and is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the masters programs at the university. This could be due to the grades achieved in their bachelor’s degree, their current qualifications not being equivalent to a United Kingdom bachelor degree, or having a different background.
Upon successful completion of the Pre-Masters program, students will continue onto their chosen postgraduate degree course at the University of Bradford.
The Bradford Master of Public Health is tailored for individuals seeking to transition into public health, policy, or community development at a senior level. It is suitable for candidates from diverse undergraduate study backgrounds and/or professional experience.
Public Health program aims to cultivate future healthcare leaders who possess a deep understanding of health policy, community change, human behavior change, and health service design.
Emphasis is placed on leadership and strategic thinking, which is honed through comprehensive qualitative and quantitative research, analysis, and evaluation. The program is customized to address the demographic and epidemiological challenges of modern urban societies, including diseases of affluence and aging, as well as marginalized and vulnerable populations that arise in such environments.
