Overview
The Associate in Arts in Theatre Arts Transfer degree prepares students with the technical and performance skills necessary to succeed in a CSU theatre program. The degree also insures that students will develop skills that will greatly benefit them in the job market. The study and practice of theatre channels the students' creativity, imagination and observational skills into developing insight, responsiveness and the ability to articulate and communicate ideas with confidence and clarity.
Program Student Learning Outcomes: • Certificate recipients will demonstrate a reliable and responsible work ethic as a team member of a college production.
• Formulate a plan leading to a career in the performing arts including advanced study; commercial and industrial work; and professional stage and visual media work.
