What you will study
The BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of West London enables students to develop practical and innovative solutions to a variety of engineering problems.
From the beginning of the course, students will design and build electronic circuits, progressing from prototype design to fully assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Practical laboratory sessions allow students to apply theoretical knowledge, with access to large multipurpose electronics laboratories equipped with specialist resources for electrical, electronics, communications and control engineering. Students will also work with industry-standard software such as OrCAD, AutoCAD, Inventor, MATLAB and LABVIEW.
In the final year, students will undertake a major project, allowing them to explore an engineering problem in depth and apply both technical and professional skills.
Teaching is delivered by expert staff who are committed to supporting students’ development within an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
