What you will study
University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.
To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.
University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Infrastructure) (Honours) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Infrastructure) (Honours) places students at the forefront of engineering education aligned with industry demand. The program, developed with a strong focus on environmental sustainability, equips students with the skills to plan, design, construct, supervise, manage, and maintain infrastructure projects both in Australia and internationally.
Students can tailor their studies to suit their interests and career goals by specialising in areas such as civil infrastructure, geotechnical engineering, structures, transport, or water resources, alongside a range of industry-relevant electives.
The degree emphasises real-world experience through work-integrated learning opportunities, including design-and-build projects, participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge, industry capstone projects, and work placements in Australia or overseas, helping students build practical skills and global connections.
