What you will study
Become part of Cheshire College's new and innovative production company as a technician, designer and / or events manager. In the HNC Performing Arts students are part of a working production team creating, organizing, performing and managing all manner of events and productions including musicals, fashion shows, verbatim theatre, pantomime, dance shows and innovative work. Cheshire College is able to offer all of the HNCs in a unique package whereby a learner can study a particular pathway e.g. acting, technical theatre, or students can take a unit across any of the four pathways meaning they can leave the course with a rounded knowledge of all aspects of the entertainment and theatre industry by gaining a general HNC Performing Arts. The course will equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills for success in a range of positions. Students will study modules including: • The Performing Arts Industry (a research project) • Professional Development, Production Communication • Stagecraft
