Deakin University - Warrnambool

What you will study

In the Master of Science students will deepen their knowledge on a chosen topic within the environmental sciences field through independent, sustained and academically supervised research. With the guidance and supervision of the internationally recognised research staff in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment, students will undertake research to develop an advanced and integrated understanding of a complex body of knowledge in one or more discipline areas.

By generating a substantial contribution to knowledge in students’ chosen area – in the form of a thesis of up to 50,000 words – they will become an expert in their field and advance their career prospects. Although the focus of the degree is on research, they will also complete at least one unit of coursework.
