Anglia Ruskin University College - Cambridge
What you will study
Program Description Whether students are interested in numbers or people, the Pathway in Business prepares students to understand business locally and globally. With instructors and students from all over the world, what better place to understand the global market than the award-winning business school in ARU Chelmsford and Cambridge. The Pathway in Business begins by helping students understand the basics needed in any business industry and a variety of intercultural situations. Based in Cambridge and Chelmsford, students will interact with businesses and get inspired by guest speakers like the ‘Be Your Own Boss’ Seminar series. The business school has many opportunities to begin implementing ideas, even before students graduate with many industry contacts and ARU’s Big Pitch business idea competition. The BSc (Hons) Business with Events Management degree offers a mix of real-life event work, up-to-the-minute business knowledge, and active collaborative learning. The strong industry links mean students will have opportunities to help run events in Cambridge. There’s the option to take a placement year, too. Events management is a rewarding career in an industry unlike any other. Students will channel ‘work hard, play hard’ as they equip themselves with the essential toolkit to manage small and large-scale events.
