Overview

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex.

This Pre-Masters programme is a preparational course for international students who wish to study one of a range of Masters degrees at the University of Sussex.

The Pre-Masters in Business, Media and Social Sciences, provides a route to a variety of postgraduate degrees at the University of Sussex. On all pathways, students will study a combination of general and specialist modules to improve their knowledge and skills to prepare them for postgraduate study. Students will also study the Skills for Success module to provide them with the employability skills needed to succeed in their career.

Social Development MA

Students will gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to become a social development practitioner. This course addresses the increasing focus on social aspects of development in policy, planning and practice.

Students will be based in the School of Global Studies where they conduct cutting-edge research. This is a unique interdisciplinary school at the University of Sussex with a vibrant mix of students and practitioners from around the world. If students have some experience in the field, they are provided with opportunities to expand and deepen their knowledge.

Students will benefit from the global network of research partnerships, alumni and professionals in the public, private, consultancy and not-for-profit sectors.
