Overview
Langara offers a wide range of courses in science and mathematics. Students benefit from lower tuition rates and smaller class sizes as compared to a large university. Chemistry department courses range from the introductory level through to 2nd-year university transfer, including analytical, organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. Langara has well equipped laboratories and dedicated teachers.
This program is designed to give students foundational knowledge and laboratory skills in chemistry. Through their laboratory experience, students will have the opportunity to engage in practical "hands-on" learning activities using chemicals, scientific equipment, and technology.
