What you will study

Program Description This degree offers the intensive training needed to become a versatile and multi-skilled performer. The programme covers all aspects of the craft and learn how to take a production from initial idea through to the first performance or screening. Students will be part of a creative community with plenty of opportunities to collaborate and create their own original work. Practical workshops in acting, voice, movement, scenography and theatre histories will enable students to build their own creative toolkit. Students will have access to industry-standard facilities to gain valuable experience in a professional capacity.

Classes are taught by professional actors, casting directors, film-makers and screenwriters, many of whom continue to work in the industry alongside teaching. In second year, students have the option to study abroad for one term to expand their awareness of this global industry. This intensive training will help students develop their own artistic identity within performing arts in the UK and beyond. As well as acting, the specialist knowledge and expertise students will gain will allow them to work in wide variety of job roles within this creative sector.
