Overview
The MA Record Production at the University of West London has been designed to combine advanced technical skills in recording, digital signal processing and mixing with essential professional skills such as session management, pre-production, communication and performance in the studio.
Students’ studies will incorporate the production of popular recorded music from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
Students will deconstruct and analyse the process of record production, enhancing their understanding of today’s music industry.
As the course progresses, students will develop awareness of social and consumer trends in the music industry and create a personal development plan to support their career goals.
