Overview
This International Foundation Year provides international students with preparation for the LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology degree. Students develop foundational understanding of law and social studies while improving academic writing, research, communication, critical thinking and independent learning skills. The programme helps students become familiar with UK university teaching, learning and assessment methods. Successful completion enables progression to undergraduate study, where students can examine legal principles, criminal justice, criminology, legal institutions and social issues surrounding crime. The pathway is suitable for students interested in law and criminal justice who want to develop analytical and research skills and build a strong academic foundation before starting their undergraduate degree.
