Overview

Through this master's level study programme, school will help students develop their design thinking, problem-solving and creativity, and prepare them for the rapidly evolving job market. They will graduate with the knowledge, skills and experience to create technology-integrated solutions that enhance user experiences, and they will be able to responsibly integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) within design. Overall, they will enter the field with the business acumen and design and technology knowhow to thrive in cross-functional teams.

The program offers advanced training for professional registration as Chartered Technological Product Designers. Through research and a capstone project, students will gain a deep, metacognitive understanding of global design challenges and emerging technologies, preparing them to lead impactful change.

The course is designed for future accreditation by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirements for Chartered Technological Product Designer (CTPD). Accreditation will be sought at an appropriate time when the first cohorts approach graduation, and backdated for them.
