This course teaches you the principles and concepts of civil engineering, supported by a solid understanding of scientific concepts. You will have access to the latest high-quality equipment and facilities.
You’ll gain hands-on access to our materials laboratory to test the properties of materials used in civil engineering. You'll also have access to our fluid and thermodynamics laboratory, soils laboratory and computer-aided design (CAD) suites featuring the latest 3D design software.
This course offers an optional 48-week sandwich placement in industry for full-time students between Year 2 and Year 3.
