Early childhood educators play an essential role in shaping children's lifelong views of learning. The Early Childhood Education program teaches children from birth to age twelve, nurturing them through activities and play that develop their intellectual, physical, and emotional growth. In support of the New Brunswick (NB) Curriculum Framework for Early Learning and Child Care – English, the program’s educational approach is constructivist and developmental/interactional. Students have experiential learning opportunities throughout the program through NBCC's innovative Living Classroom, which provides practical opportunities to grow as educators and build confidence.
