What you will study

The BA Business Economics provides students with the theoretical and practical skills they need to understand and implement economic decisions made by businesses, managers and financial specialists. This course is a collaboration between the Department of Economics and Essex Business School, allowing students to gain an overview of economics that is relevant to business and introducing them to a wide range of skills within economics, management and organizations and finance.

Students explore a wide range of topics across both departments, including:

• Microeconomics and macroeconomics • Modern economics for the world of business • Ethics in business • Business strategy
