Inspire the next generation. UCO’s Theatre/Communication Education program prepares you to teach theatre, speech and debate with creativity and purpose.
Lead Through the Arts with a Theatre/Communication Education B.F.A.Ed. In our program, we believe in the transformative power of education through the arts. You’ll learn to teach theatre, speech and debate with creativity, empathy and strong communication skills. Our curriculum prepares you to engage students, lead classrooms and inspire future performers and communicators.
Through hands-on classroom experiences, mentorship from passionate faculty and opportunities to assist in productions, you’ll gain the tools to build a rewarding teaching career. Whether you’re drawn to drama, public speaking or competitive debate, this degree helps you connect with students and bring stories to life in the classroom.
