The Master of Development Practice and Global Justice (MDPGJ) is an in-person graduate program at the University of Guelph, designed for change-makers committed to addressing urgent global challenges such as inequality, climate justice, food insecurity, and systemic oppression.
Over the course of eight months, students build a strong foundation in practical skills, critical analysis, and hands-on experience to launch or advance careers in international development, advocacy, or policy.
Rooted in anti-racist, decolonial, and community-engaged approaches, the program provides opportunities to collaborate directly with development organizations, create a professional portfolio that stands out, and learn from practitioners and researchers driving meaningful change around the world.
