What you will study

The Bachelor of Information Technology at Victoria University Sydney is a three-year course with a personalised learning experience. The program has a focus on areas with high job demand such as web/mobile app development and ICT management. The university's learning facilities include the latest technology such as CISCO routers and switches, Amazon cloud servers and virtualisation (Hyper-V) infrastructure. All students undertake the same first-year subjects, followed by major studies (eight units) in years two and three. Students can choose from: web and Mobile Application Development or Network and System Computing. Students graduate with the technical, analytical, managerial, leadership and interpersonal skills required for success in the IT industry gaining:

• knowledge across a wide range of IT applications • hands-on experience with industry standard equipment • project management experience in many sectors including: government finance ,retail, and manufacturing.

This degree also prepares students for industry certifications from local and international companies such as CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
