What you will study
The Undergraduate Foundation Program in Medicine gives students the opportunity to apply for Year 1 of a number of Medicine degrees with the University of Central Lancashire's partner universities. Students who are successful on the Medicine Undergraduate Foundation Program, and achieve the other prerequisites for entry such as a successful Multiple Mini Interview, may be able to progress to a five-year Medicine degree.
Physician Associates are trained as medical associate professionals. On this course the students will get the opportunity to work in many specialties. The students will study the fundamentals of medical sciences through group activities, practical sessions and lectures. The students will also apply what they learn to real-life situations through cases and clinical placements. This helps them consolidate and contextualise their knowledge.
