Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence (I105)

Edinburgh Napier University - Merchiston Campus

What you will study

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) – Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) (I105) provides students with a critical understanding of computer science and computational thinking, with a particular focus in the final year on the application of artificial intelligence. In the first year, students develop skills in software design and engineering, which form the foundation for creating software algorithms and applying AI-based tools and concepts in later stages of the course.

The programme also fosters a deep understanding of problem solving through the use of various analytical techniques, enabling students to design computational solutions to a wide range of complex problems.

In the final year, students have the opportunity to study a selection of specialised modules in artificial intelligence, delivered by academic staff who are internationally recognised experts in the field.
