Overview
To address the growing opportunities in Rehabilitation Sciences, Loughborough University launched its MSc in Exercise Rehabilitation in Autumn 2024.
This flexible programme will help students develop fundamental knowledge, understanding, and skills across all aspects of rehabilitation sciences within an exercise context. It offers the opportunity to specialise in either musculoskeletal rehabilitation or rehabilitation for non-communicable (chronic) diseases.
Students will gain practice-based experience and have the chance to undertake an independent research project focused on a scientific question or real-life issue in rehabilitation.
Additionally, they will benefit from the university’s research expertise and state-of-the-art facilities, including those at the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine-East Midlands and the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) at Stanford Hall, which is scheduled to open in 2025.
