Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Professional Policing including Foundation Year (PP1F)

The Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Professional Policing, including a Foundation Year, helps students develop the academic skills and knowledge needed to advance into professional policing. The Foundation Year supports students’ transition into higher education while introducing key policing and public service themes. Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year, students progress to the first year of the B.S. (Honors) in Professional Policing program, which meets the core requirements of the National Police Curriculum for the College of Policing’s pre-join degree, providing a clear pathway toward further study and a career in professional policing.

This program prepares students for university-level study by developing core academic skills while exploring policing and broader public service issues. Through teamwork, reflection, and applied learning, students build confidence and understanding throughout the course.
