2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Business, Film and Media - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - International Relations with a Language

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Media and Social Sciences will familiarize you with a wide area of study for your intended degree. You will develop your critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing you with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

Language skills are a great asset to have for careers in international relations and international organisations. This course allows you to enhance your language skills alongside gaining an understanding of the role of states, international organisations and non-state actors in our global world.

Learn from experts whose research is making a difference to communities across the world – from human rights and climate change, to food crises and health pandemics. You also get real-world exposure to international relations, from regular events with practitioner speakers.

Choose one language from Arabic, British Sign Language, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, or you can choose to study English Language Teaching.
