What you will study
Program Description A combination of case studies, experiential learning, small classroom lectures, group projects and independent work will help students develop key business skills, including oral and written communication skills; ethical, analytical and problem-solving skills; and critical reasoning skills. These skills are in high demand from employers.
Students may tailor their degree to meet their personal goals. In the first two years, students will receive a solid foundation in the functional areas of business along with knowledge of the Canadian and global business environment through a core set of courses. In the final two years, students will prepare to meet their professional goals by having the option to focus on one of 10 different areas of concentration:
• Accounting • Entrepreneurship • Finance • General Management • Human Resource Management • Information Systems • International Business • Marketing • Operations Management • Public Administration
The Business Administration Co-op students complete work terms with major companies in Canada and abroad. Students will enrich their academic studies by applying the concepts they have learned in class to their work experience.
