What you will study
The International Year Zero – Business enables students to understand a range of areas. They will develop their knowledge in business, economics, statistics and data analysis which opens up a variety of career opportunities.
The International Year Zero (IYZ) is the first year of a 4-year International Incorporated Bachelors (IIB). The first year is taught at University of Kent International College (UK IC). Once students successfully complete this year, they will continue studying the remaining stages of their degree at the University.
Kent Business School is a supportive community, where students will work closely with their academic adviser and other academic staff. They are experts in all areas of business who will expose them to the right mix of detailed theory and hands-on experience.
Students will gain important leadership skills across a variety of business areas and learn how businesses operate. Topics covered include management principles, marketing, accounting and the international business environment. As they progress, they will be introduced to the advanced concepts of many business and management disciplines with the flexibility to tailor their course to suit their interests.
