2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Business, Film and Media - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - International Relations

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Media and Social Sciences will familiarize you with a wide area of study for your intended degree. You will develop your critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing you with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

How is humanity organised at the world level, and where does power really lie? When and why did the modern global international system come into being? What are the key ideas people have used to try and understand big international issues such as war and peace, and wealth and poverty? And how can we use these ideas to address the urgent challenges – climate change, human rights, terrorism and international inequality – facing the world today?
