Overview
The Bachelor of science in Exercise Science focuses on the scientific study of human movement and exercise, preparing students for careers in fields such as sports performance, rehabilitation, fitness and health promotion. You'll learn from experienced faculty members and gain hands-on experience through internships, research opportunities and our state-of-the-art exercise science lab. The goal of the program is to prepare competent entry-level Exercise Science professionals in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (abilities) learning domains. Individual course content, objectives, and assessments are structured to achieve this larger goal. The Exercise Physiology concentration prepares students for graduate school in exercise physiology or health care professions.
