Overview
This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, install, service, and maintain the operating condition of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This includes instruction in diagnostic techniques, the use of testing equipment, the principles of mechanics, electricity, and electronics as they relate to the repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Upon successful completion of this program, students should be able to: • Demonstrate technical knowledge and skills needed to repair, install, service, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems in operating condition. • Utilize diagnostic techniques and testing equipment in the repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. • Apply principles of mechanics, electricity, and electronics to the repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
