Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Criminology with Youth Justice including Foundation Year (L61F)

Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Criminology with Youth Justice is designed for students who do not currently meet the entry requirements for the Health, Wellbeing and Social Care degree and who aspire to work in the health, wellbeing, and social care sector. It provides a supportive introduction to university study and prepares students for progression onto the full degree, which is accredited by the Institute of Health and Social Care Management. Students will build confidence and academic skills while laying strong foundations for progression onto the Criminology with Youth Justice degree.

Across the Foundation Year, students will explore key criminology themes, including crime, media, ethics, and policing, alongside developing core academic and professional skills. Through discussion, applied activities, teamwork, and reflection, students will strengthen their research, communication, and critical thinking abilities, preparing them for successful progression into the Criminology degree and future careers in this field.
