3-Term Pathway - Pre-Master's for Law and Social Sciences - Transfer to Master of Science - Development and International Business

The Pre-Master's for Law and Social Sciences at Kaplan International College London is ideal for a postgraduate degree at university. The length of the course is determined mainly by the applicant's English language level.

All students will take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. They may also take extra modules focusing on one or more of the English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

The Master of Science in Development and International Business explores the changing relationship between states and markets. In recent years, interest in the relationship between international business and global development has increased. On this program exploring business and global development, graduates will study the politics of development, foreign direct investment and international institutions of global political-economic governance.

Students will develop an advanced and critical understanding of the development of international business from various intellectual perspectives. They will examine many approaches, from neo-liberal and mainstream business studies, through to more critical views which engage with questions of power and resistance.
