What you will study

The Bachelor of Music in Performance will prepare candidates for their career in industry.

Students will train in the art of performance itself and study performance anxiety, the use of gesture in performance, and concert and event hosting. They will have the opportunity to study the Alexander Technique, Yoga, dance and acting alongside a range of contextual modules.

Graduates will study in the University of Chichester Conservatoire, which has one of the largest and liveliest music departments in the United Kingdom with a community of over 400 student performers. They will access facilities including computerized recording and media studios, well equipped practice rooms and an acoustically superb performance venue.

Students will complete a personal project in their final year, which is an opportunity to present a longer and more challenging program of performance work.
