Overview
The University of Liverpool postgraduate taught programmes in International Human Rights Law are advanced courses of study which provide students with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the far-reaching impact of international law on international relations, with a special emphasis on human rights issues and their relevance to domestic law. Active research interests of staff ensure specifically tailored and distinctive modules, and delivery sometimes takes place with visiting speakers invited to give seminars on the programme.
As members of the Russell Group, Liverpool's staff are leading experts in their field, producing research of international excellence. Research feeds into teaching at postgraduate level, keeping students informed of the latest developments. Liverpool's LLM students are invited to take advantage of the School’s tremendous variety of extra-curricular activities including workshops, talks, training sessions, career events, internships and pro bono projects.
