What you will study
The International Year One (IY1) offers successful students guaranteed progression to Year 2 of a range of business and accounting-related degrees at the University of Sunderland. Learners will study their program at the University's Centre located at the heart of the University of Sunderland City campus.
This program is designed for international students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Sunderland, but have a stronger profile than a Undergraduate Foundation Program student.
All students who successfully complete the International Year One (IY1) are guaranteed progression to Year 2 of a business-related undergraduate degree at the University of Sunderland. This program is set at level 4, and is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate business degree in the United Kingdom.
