Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Electronic and Computer Engineering (Industrial Year (H61G)

University of Nottingham - University Park

What you will study

In a world filled with smart devices to a global need to create green energy, our course provides a detailed insight into the computing systems and software needed to advance all technology.

A lot of the things they learn will be done in labs either working individually and through group projects. They'll study subjects such as analogue and digital electronics, circuits and systems, computing, communications and the application of electrical energy.

They will spend year three in industry. They can apply for placements available to students on their course or can agree their own placement with an appropriate company. During their industrial year, they remain fully registered with the University, with regular meetings with their tutor.

All our electrical and electronic courses have the same content in year one and two so by year three, they can choose the topics that interest them.

As a BEng graduate, there are many options available for them. They can choose to register with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated Engineer or progress to Chartered Engineer status.

Our course will give them with the required engineering expertise for either a career in industry or in a variety of other professions.
