In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Media and Social Sciences will familiarize you with a wide area of study for your intended degree. You will develop your critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing you with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

An understanding of psychology plays a vital role in understanding changing consumer behaviour and wider marketing sub-disciplines. Boost your career prospects by studying key concepts in both areas.

Whether you want to launch your own company, become an advertising executive or innovate at the heart of a global organisation, this course will prepare you for a range of marketing and management roles. You’ll study a combination of marketing and management theory and practice, combined with an examination of key psychological concepts within this context.

On this BSc, you’ll develop a valuable understanding of economics, accounting and business law. You’ll also delve into concepts of digital marketing, consumer behaviour, international marketing and marketing analytics. Throughout this course, you’ll critically evaluate organisational and consumer behaviour, while exploring key aspects of contemporary marketing such as global marketing strategy, strategic branding and new product management.

This course fully prepares you for the workplace and you have the opportunity to apply for a year working in industry where you can put your knowledge into practice.
