Master of Business Administration - Professional Practice (Placement Year) (CID1322)

MBA with Placement is a taught course which incorporates a 12-month work placement. Securing a work placement is a competitive process and University of Sunderland will help students with the selection process from application to interview.

Students will be supported with securing a placement, but should students be unsuccessful in the selection process, Sunderland will arrange a transfer to the generic MBA programme and study a Postgraduate Certificate in HRM or a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Marketing and Analytics as an additional qualification at no cost and complete both programmes within the 2 year period.

Dedicated faculty placements team is well-connected with regional and national employers and each year assists students in applying for roles in areas including marketing, human resources, finance, operations and supply-chain positions.

The University will support students efforts in securing a placement or work experience. Students have secured placements with companies including: Nissan, Caterpillar, Fujitsu, Network Rail and White Lodging Services, as well as small entrepreneurial firms in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
