Overview
Highline College's Administrative Assistant Certificate program teaches the skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive work environment. In addition to learning specific technology skills, students will learn effective business communication, applied business math and basic accounting, leadership, supervision, and team building skills.
Upon graduation, students will know how to: • Apply office technology and critical thinking skills to address and support business needs.
• Correctly use components of Microsoft Office programs to create professional and academic documents. • Demonstrate using the keyboard by touch, using correct fingering on letters, numbers, and symbols, using correct ergonomic technique.
