In the University Diploma - Visual Effects for Film, Streaming & Immersive Media Diploma program, students will be trained in order to become industry-ready visual effects artists with the necessary background, motivation, work ethic, skills and aesthetics to become leaders in the field. The program will cover everything a student needs to know from conceptual development through to technical production to empower graduates with the skills to confidently engage in the complex and fast changing technical and creative environment of the visual effects industry.

Instructors will be professionals from high-end film, broadcast and software companies who are passionate about passing on their craft to the next generation of filmmakers. Students will collaborate with students in film, documentary, animation, costuming and cinematography programs for an even richer experience. They'll take on a second-year practicum at a local studio where they will be mentored by a professional, learn on-the-job skills and expand their network.
