Biomedical Science is at the centre of modern science. Through this profession, students could identify outbreaks of diseases, uncover breakthroughs in medicine and determine the effectiveness of a patient’s treatment.

On this highly practical degree course students will be equipped with the real-life skills that employers are looking for through a combination of high-quality classroom and laboratory skill sessions.

Students will learn about the latest technologies being applied in the biomedical science field to improve diagnoses and treatments in the new purpose-built laboratory facilities using specialist scientific equipment. In their final year, they will carry out their own research project and look at how research can be applied within the Biomedical field.”

This course is delivered by experienced staff, including Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Biomedical Scientists, who are highly regarded in their fields.

Students will be taught by research-active academics and conduct research alongside the biomedical science experts as part of their degree.
