Program Description Ancient History and Politics examines and explores ancient and modern political worlds and Greek and Roman history. Studying this three-year BA degree will open up a range of exciting career opportunities by helping students develop skills, which are highly valued by employers. With 94% of students in employment or in further study within 6 months after graduating (Destinations of Leavers in Higher Education DLHE 2015), our Ancient History and Politics degree will put students in a great position to succeed in a variety of careers.
To enhance the students' employability prospects The Swansea Employability Academy (SEA) provides a network for linking students with employers. They also offer work placements through the Literacy to Latin Project to Universities. These placements are within Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and charities only. Students can gain teaching experience by leading workshops for the South West Wales Reaching Wider Partnership.
