What you will study
The Pre-Masters program is offered over one or two terms and is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the university’s masters programs. This may be due to grades obtained in their bachelor’s degree, qualifications that are not equivalent to a United Kingdom bachelor degree, or a different educational background.
Upon successful completion of the Pre-Masters program, students will progress to their chosen postgraduate degree course at the University of Bradford.
Economics and Finance for Development program will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of economic approaches to development, with a focus on the role of finance and financial institutions. Students will learn to assess the benefits of various development financing mechanisms and grasp the fundamentals of financial policy.
Throughout the program, students will develop the necessary skills for analyzing development issues, understand the connections between statistics and econometrics, and gain expertise in international trade, exchange rate policies, and other economic topics. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to explore elective courses in project and program management, public policy, and development policy.
