Program Description Students will study a wide ranging and diverse base of specialist health management courses. If interested persons are a graduate or manager in health, aged or community care services and they want to develop their skills and understanding of contemporary health or social care management issues, these degrees will help them achieve their goals. Through flexible teaching and research options, students will learn about key areas of health sector policy, governance, operations and evidence-based practice management.

Students will develop skills and knowledge in current management theory and practice, develop their leadership skills and style and gain an in-depth understanding of health workforce planning. Students will also learn about managing human resources, planning and implementing health programs, and managing performance and health budgets from respected industry practitioners and academics. Additionally, students will develop skills in strategic decision making and change management and an understanding of the role of innovation and the application of technology in health services management.

Students will develop research and project management skills that will provide a sound basis for their current work role and their future endeavours.
