What you will study
The Health and Life Sciences course aims to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required to succeed in the degree pursued at Brunel University London. The Blended Learning Interactive Simulation Suite (BLISs) offers an innovative, unique learning space that brings multisensory environments into the modern classroom, providing students with innovative learning experiences.
At Brunel, students learn through an equal balance of theory and practice, gaining professional experience in a variety of healthcare settings where they work closely with other healthcare professionals, service users, and their families.
On this programme, students learn clinical and communication skills focused on paediatric nursing. Placement opportunities will develop these skills and their understanding of caring in hospital and community settings. Brunel is a renowned research-intensive university with an established and excellent reputation in health sciences, so students will be learning from the best in the field. They will graduate ready to start shaping the future of children’s nursing.
Upon graduation, they will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
