Bachelor of Engineering - Mechatronics Engineering (Optional Co-op)

Toronto Metropolitan University

What you will study

The Mechatronics Engineering program prepares students for various career opportunities in Mechatronics. The demand for engineers with knowledge in mechanical, electrical and computer engineering is surging and students will be prepared to meet this demand and create technologically advanced products that make our day-to-day lives safer, smarter, and more efficient. Students start by focusing on the foundations of engineering science, programming, and electric circuit analysis followed by specialized knowledge in modern control theory, microcontrollers, intelligent systems, and robotics. With a senior capstone design project for an industry partner and the opportunity to switch to the co-op program, students graduate with the technical skills and solutions-oriented experience needed to create real-world solutions for employers.
