Designed for existing managers and aspiring leaders in charities and other nonprofit organizations, this program gives students the tools to effectively and efficiently improve organizational performance. This program features a unique blend of academic learning and practical skills. Students courses will focus on unique leadership skills for nonprofit managers, financial management skills, learning the art of people management in a volunteer environment, marketing, government relations, fundraising, and legal requirements and governance. All courses are offered online to give students the flexibility to study wherever and whenever you wish. By earning their Nonprofit Management associate certificate, students will be prepared with the essential skills to effectively support and manage their organization. By earning their associate certificate at BCIT, students will focus on the practical skills they’ll need every day to manage a charitable or nonprofit organization. Students hands-on training here prepares them in the essentials of fundraising, legal issues, human resource management, marketing and more to help them begin or advance their career in any variety of charitable organizations. Please note: This program has more online courses then in-person courses and may affect student's PGWP eligibility.
